SOME THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT CUB SCOUT PACK 543

Cub Scouting is a family and home-centered part of the BSA program that helps develop ethical decision-making skills for boys in the first through fifth grade (or 7 to 10 years old). Activities emphasize the 12 Core Values of Cub Scouting. These values are: citizenship, compassion, cooperation, courage, faith, health and fitness, honesty, perseverance, positive attitude, resourcefulness, respect, and responsibility.

The committee and leaders of Cub Scout Pack 543 are committed to providing a year round, quality program which reinforces the Purposes of Cub Scouting as set forth by the national office of the Boy Scouts of America in Irving, Texas. To the best of our ability, our pack will aid young boys in character development by instilling in them the 12 Core Values of Cub Scouting. We will do all of this while maintaining an atmosphere of FUN.

Cubmaster's Corner

Hello Pack 543 Families,

Happy Spring to everyone!!! I am looking forward to a fun filled and exciting spring season for scouting. We have some great outdoor activities planned. In March we have the Lorax movie, In April we are going to the Philidelphia Zoo Overnighter, In May we are going to Calverton for flag placement and pick-up, and we are also marching in the Medford Memorial Day Parade, In June we have our annual Campout that is so much FUN !!!

Remember we want to keep the "Outing in Scouting", so please try to attend all of our great events that everyone works so hard on putting together for all to have FUN !!!

We should all ask a friend to "Join Scouting". Ask a classmate, or a friend from your neighborhood to join our pack. Tell them how much fun we have and how active we are.

We need your help. We need parent volunteers for various positions. Please see Kristina Kremer or myself for more information.

Checkout the photos in the photo gallery!!!!

Yours In Scouting,

Mr. Anthony
Cubmaster

We are Volunteers

Scouting does not exist without volunteers. Parent volunteers are always needed. There are many ways to help, from making phone calls to being a den leader. Remember that Cub Scout packs don’t exist without volunteer leadership. If you would like to help in any capacity, please contact the pack committee, Cubmaster, or your son’s den leader.
